Job Description for Activity Coordinator

Accepting Resume & Cover Letter Until July 9, 2015

Responsibilities:

Implement programs and activities approved by the Director.

Maintain a comprehensive calendar of regular and special activities at the Center.

Keep records of dates, times and descriptions of these programs and present them early in the month to the Director for inclusion in the monthly newsletter.

Prepare monthly a newsletter for the community that includes other activities offered by the Library, PTO, and Town.

Plan, manage and follow through on monthly activities geared toward enrichment, health and enjoyment of life for participants at the Holland Community Center, including all age groups in daytime and evening programs.

Keep records of dates, times and descriptions of these programs and present them early in the month to the Director for inclusion in the monthly newsletter.

Support the Director in the office with record keeping and correspondence.

Other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Director.

Minimum Qualifications:

Self-motivation, initiative and follow through; completion of activities as described above.

Proficiency with MSWord, Excel and Access.

Ability to keep records and update mailing list monthly, produce correspondence and reports.

Accept instruction from Director and cooperate with other staff members.

Hours:

Work up to 6 hours on evenings and occasional weekend hours.
