Definitions:

Gross Area;    The area of enclosed space as determined by the footprint of each level of the structure.

Cost of Construction;    The average cost per foot of all types of construction and uses. This figure is set by the International Code Council (ICC) and is reviewed bi-annually.

Permit Fee Multiplier;  The permit fee cost per $1000 of construction cost. This figure is determined by the expenses of the Building Department, in relation to the average annual construction value which occurred in Holland for the past year.
