Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held on October 7, 2008.
Present: Mary vandenBerg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron and Howard Fife. Absent: Rolf Hilbig and James Wettlaufer.
7:00 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
7:05 p.m. The minutes of September 30, 2008 were read and accepted and will be distributed.
We received a certified letter from JMP, Environmental Consulting Inc. on behalf of New England Land and Lumber, Inc. requesting a 1-year extension for the Order of Resource Area Delineation for DEP File #184-D001 for project at Mashapaug Rd., Map 7-C-2. The Extension Permit for Orders of Conditions was completed and signed by Members. Signatures were notarized by Kristin LaPlante, Town Clerk.
7:50 p.m. Jim and Patricia Iancale of 55 Island Rd., Map R-11-B-08, having been told at an earlier meeting that his property was in the flood plain zone and that any new foundation would require louvers to allow the water to flow through, showed us a photo taken of his property after the October 2005 flood - water did not reach the house. He was given a Request for Determination form.
Motion to adjourn was made, seconded and approved by all. Meeting adjourned at 8:15 p.m.
