Holland Conservation Commission
Minutes of Commission meeting held on December 9, 2008.
Present: Mary Vandenberg, Chairperson, Patricia Caron, Howard Fife and James Wettlaufer.
7:05 p.m. Chairperson called the meeting to order.
The Amended Minutes of November 19, 2008 and the Minutes of November 25, 2008 were read and accepted
We received on 11-28-2008 by certified mail a copy of a “Request for Superseding Order of Conditions” sent to the Springfield DEP from Northeast Concepts/Huguenot Farms.
We discussed at great length the document “Guidelines for the Management of Onsite Decentralized Wastewater Systems in Holland MA” from John Jacobi, former Chairman of the Board of Health. Motion was made by James Wettlaufer to send a note to the Board of Health with our inquiries. Seconded by Howard Fife and approved by all.
7:45 p.m. Donald W. Garfield, builder, Marianne and Ralph Martone presented their project and plot plan to add a second floor to their house at 23 Shore Dr., Map R-02-A-28. Following review and discussion, all were in favor of the project. Mary vandenBerg signed Procedure Sheet #2008-1303 with the condition that a dumpster be on site.
8:10 p.m. Thomas R. Hale, Landscaper, represented Julia Johnstone of 16 Leno Rd., Map R16-A-01 to replace a VersaLok wall on waterfront using the same existing footprint. Following discussion, all were in favor of the project. Mary vandenBerg signed Procedure Sheet #2008-1316 with the condition that the same footprint be used.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
