The Holland Emergency Management Committee was formed to review our protocol and response related to any major disaster, hazard or pandemic that may occur within the community. A very important part of an effective response is communication between all personnel within the town that would be involved in responding to these types of events.
Our function is to coordinate all town departments, boards, committees and resources in an effort to familiarize personnel with their own responsibilities, develop procedures and train responders to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to and recover from emergencies. Further goals are to attain other resources needed to fully prepare us during times of major disasters, hazards or pandemic.
