Nomads of Hope from Monson is sponsoring "workcamps." This program brings in young people from around the country to work for a week with an adult to do home repair projects for elderly, low-income, and disabled individuals and families. Labor and materials are provided to qualifying households. Get an application at the Senior Center or from the Outreach Worker in the Town Hall.
Suggestions of projects are: porch or step repairs, painting, weatherization, wheelchair ramp, shed construction. The work will be done the first week of July.
Applications are due no later than March 7, 2012.
