Public Information Release: 10/23/2013

The Holland Police Department recently received several reports of B&E's to unlocked motor vehicles that were parked at residences on Sandy Beach Rd in which wallets containing cash and credit cards were stolen. It appears that the breaks may have occurred during the late evening hours of Thursday October 10th, 2013 or the early morning hours of Friday October 11th, 2013.

The Holland Police Department and Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Sturbridge Barracks initiated a joint investigation after learning that several transactions were conducted at various businesses in neighboring towns, utilizing the stolen credit cards.

As a result of the investigation, Katie L. Kavorkian, 25 of Holland, Jason R. Blouin, 38 of Holland and Talon W. Asquith, 25, last known address in Webster, were arrested and charged in Dudley District Court with multiple offenses related to the utilization of the stolen credit cards. Asquith was also charged with receiving stolen property in Palmer District Court.

The investigation into the suspect who broke into the vehicles in Holland and stole the wallets and credit cards is still ongoing. We are asking the public to please come forward with any information you may have related to these motor vehicle breaks. 413-245-0117
