About Our Department
badgeptl0.jpgHolland is located in Hampden County in the Palmer District Court jurisdiction and is home to the Hamilton Reservoir which is patrolled by boat on a regular basis during the summer. Each Holland officer is trained by the MA Criminal Justice Training Council and many officers have specialized training in other areas. All officers are expected to enforce all Massachusetts General Laws and provide other services to the community in a professional manner. The department works closely with the Office of the District Attorney along with many other local law enforcement agencies.

The Holland Police Department has specialized units such as a Bicycle Patrol Unit, and a Lake Patrol Unit. The police department is one of ten different departments affiliated with the New Braintree Regional Dispatch / 911 center located in New Braintree, MA. If at any time you need to speak with a police officer you can call the dispatch center at 413-245-7222 or dial 911 if it is an emergency. For all administrative matters you can call the station at 413-245-0117 and a representative from our department will get back to you.
