(Note: If you wish to apply for a solicitation permit please refer to the Solicitation Registration section of this web page. The issuing authority for Hawking, Peddling and Vending permits is the Town of Holland Select Board. Solicitors permits are issued by the Police Department.)
Pursuant to Town of Holland General By Laws, no person, firm, co-partnership, corporation, company, association, organization, committee or other such entity shall engage in hawking, peddling or vending in or upon any public or private premises with-in the Town of Holland, without first registering with the Board of Selectmen.
If you wish to apply for a Certificate of Registration please fill out the form contained here in. An application may also be filed in person, via facsimile and via email. Please be advised that all applicants may be subjected to a criminal history check. The Board of Selectmen shall respond to the registration request within (30) days.
The application fee is [$20.00] and shall be paid by way of check or money order made out to the Town of Holland. You may be required to pick up your Certificate of Registration at the Town Hall in person. To expedite the process we recommend that you scan and attach a copy of the driver’s license for all individuals who wish to engage in hawking, peddling or vending and a copy of the registration for any vehicle that may be utilized.
