Pursuant to Town of Holland General By Laws, no person, firm, co-partnership, corporation, company, association, organization, committee or other such entity shall engage in solicitation or canvassing in or upon any public or private premises with-in the Town of Holland, without first registering with the Holland Police Department.
If you wish to apply for a Solicitation Certificate of Registration please fill out the form contained here in. An application may also be filed in person, via facsimile and via email. This application must be completed and received by the authority not less than (10) days prior to the commencement date of the activity requested. Please be advised that all applicants may be subjected to a criminal history check.
The application fee is [$20.00] and shall be paid by way of check or money order made out to the Town of Holland. You may be required to pick up your Certificate of Registration at the Police Department in person. To expedite the process we recommend that you scan and attach a copy of the driver’s license for all individuals who wish to solicit and a copy of the registration for any vehicle that may be utilized. If you wish to register for the purpose if hawking, peddling or vending, please refer to the Town of Holland Select Board.
