Records Request / Records Query
It is the goal of the Holland Police Department to provide the public with access to information that is defined as public by law or regulation while maintaining the confidentiality of information exempted from release. In order to provide you with a prompt response we strongly recommend that you fill out this Records Request Form. Public records requests may also be filed via mail, facsimile, email or in person.
Please be advised that a public records request is different from a records query. If you are requesting an in house computer system records query as part of a background check, please fill out the mandatory fields and remember to upload the appropriate release forms.
All requests will be reviewed and processed as soon as possible. Most records can be emailed to you in PDF format which is the most efficient way for us to provide them to you and you should receive a response to your request within ten [10] business days. If you are requesting reports involving an insurance claim as a result of a motor vehicle accident or other loss, please contact your insurance provider for instruction on how to proceed.
