Greetings,

We are pleased to announce that the Holland Police Department, in partnership with Stop Abuse Today Inc, is hosting a FREE Elder Abuse Awareness and Prevention seminar, which will be held on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Friday, June 15th, 2018. The purpose of this seminar is to raise awareness about elder abuse and to provide prevention recommendations, including topics regarding caretaker neglect & financial exploitation of elders, which is a significant problem in today’s society.
 
This seminar is open to the public and is targeted towards senior citizens, family of senior citizens, and those individuals who provide services and assistance for senior citizens. We will also have a representative from Greater Springfield Senior Services, Inc joining us in order to discuss the assistance that they can provide to victims of elder abuse. 

The seminar will begin at 10AM and will be held at the Holland Senior / Community Center located at 40 Brimfield Rd in Holland.
