Elder Abuse Awareness & Prevention Power Point

On  Friday, June 15th, 2018 [World Elder Abuse Awareness Day 2018] the Holland Police Department hosted a free seminar in partnership with Stop Abuse Today Inc. The purpose of this seminar was to raise awareness about elder abuse and to provide prevention recommendations, including topics regarding caretaker neglect & financial exploitation of elders. The seminar was open to the public and targeted towards senior citizens, family of senior citizens, and those individuals who provide services and assistance for senior citizens.

Stop Abuse Today is a local nonprofit organization whose purpose is to counsel and support abuse victims, as well as to provide the public with awareness and education related to abuse prevention.
