Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Stevens Brook Sichol Community Forest
Since closing on the Stevens Brook Sichol Forest property on June 30th, much has been progressing. Trailhead parking has been established, we’ve received our full reimbursement for the state funds, we’ve submitted and received approval for our Forestry Management Plan, several trails workdays have been held with more scheduled and we are wrapping up submitting required documentation for US Forestry funding. Now it’s time to celebrate and acknowledge all that has gone into getting Holland to this point and ignite enthusiasm for the opportunities ahead!
The Town of Holland & Opacum Land Trust are delighted to invite you to join us in a ribbon cutting to celebrate the purchase of the Stevens Brook Sichol Community Forest in Holland, MA
When: Wednesday, November 2nd at 1 PM
Where: Blodgett Road Trailhead, Holland MA 01521 (at the end of Blodgett Road, just past 18 Blodgett Road - NOTE: While the trailhead offers ample parking for anticipated trail use, there may be limited parking for this event)

Standing ceremony - bring your own chair if you want to sit. After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, join us for a short walk around the property. Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and dress appropriately for the weather.
