The Town of Holland is seeking to fill the positions found at the following link.
Holland Public Library
Part-Time, 5-10 hours per week.
Wednesdays, 3-8 pm / Thursdays, 12-5 pm; with the possibility of additional hours as needed.
The Holland Public Library seeks a detail-oriented, friendly, and energetic Library Assistant who will perform a variety of tasks, including reference and reader’s advisory, circulation functions, and processing materials.
*Provide information on library services.
*Check library materials in and out.
*Collect, sort, and shelve items.
*Process new library materials for circulation.
*Provide in-person, telephone, or email assistance to patrons by reviewing library accounts,
placing holds, renewing books, locating materials, and responding to research inquiries.
*Assist patrons with use of computers and other technology.
*Other library-related duties as assigned.
High school diploma/equivalency required, Bachelor’s degree preferred. The successful candidate must be organized, have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, and work well with a wide variety of people. Must be reliable, have the ability to problem solve, and work independently. Must have computer skills; including the ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Previous library experience and use of Evergreen library system is preferred.
$13.51 per hour
