Mission Statement
To ensure that all property owners are fairly assessed for land, buildings and personnel property based on Massachusetts General Laws pertaining to these items. To provide the state Department of Revenue, Division of local services, all information and reports that is required to set the Real Estate tax rate for each fiscal year.
To review all requests for abatements for either Real Estate or Excise tax and take proper action.
