Tax Abatement Work Program (Real Estate Tax Credit for work performed)

  • Senior Work-Off Program - positions are annual (January 1 - December 31)
    • Must be 60 years of age or older
    • Must own and occupy a full-time residence in Holland the year prior to participation
    • Must be able to perform the requirements of the position of application
    • Must meet income requirements
    • Application (attached below) must be completed each fiscal year and verification of eligibility required

FY22 Positions Available

  • Building Maintenance (1) - Community Center
  • Grounds Maintenance/Lawn Care (1) - Community Center
  • Function Room Set up (1) - Community Center
  • Van Dispatch (future) - Community Center
  • Clerical (1) - General clerical support, per diem - supporting All Boards Clerk and Town Administrator - filled
  • Clerical (1) - Filing/General, per diem - Town Clerk - filled
  • Clerical (1), hours TBD - Cemetery Commission - filled
  • Clerical (1) - stuffing envelopes; hours per diem, in conjunction with quarterly tax billing cycle - filled
