Fire Department

The Holland Fire Department is responsible for issuing agricultural & seasonal burning permits, camp/cooking fire permits, blasting permits, above/below ground storage tank installation & removal permits, black powder storage permits, dumpster permits, solar system permits, mobile food truck & vendor inspection certificates, smoke detector / carbon monoxide inspection certificates, and various storage tank inspections. Please call (413) 245-9733 x105 and leave your name, phone number and address of the property and a Fire Inspector or Fire Prevention Officer will call to schedule the inspection or permit request within 72 hours.

Please note that open burning is allowed only, at the discretion of the Fire Department, from January 15 to May 1. Permits are available to be purchased every weekend (Saturday & Sunday) at the Fire Station (7 Sturbridge Road) between 10:00 am and noon.
